A famous and cherished Mission milestone since 1979, the country’s first ladies possessed and-worked public venue is trimmed with one of the area’s most spectacular paintings. The Maestrapeace wall painting was painted in 1994 and delineates tremendously powerful ladies, including Nobel Prize–victor Rigoberta Menchú, writer Audre Lorde, craftsman Georgia O’Keeffe, and previous US Surgeon General Dr. Joycelyn Elders.

The public venue has accomplished incredible work with in excess of 150 ladies’ associations since it opened.
