Sometime before the city was overflowed with ranchers markets, there was the ranchers market. New produce, cooked nuts, doughnuts, cheeses, blini – you’ll see them all at this 1934 milestone. Easygoing and kid neighborly, it’s a pleasant spot for a peruse, nibble, or for people-viewing.
From late May to mid-September it holds the Summer Music Series (7 pm to 9 pm). On Thursday evenings everything jazz, and on Fridays, the groups can go from zydeco to pop.
Stopping is free for the main 1½ hours with approval.
