Jagniwas Island is around 15,000 sq m in size and completely secured by the lavish castle worked by Maharana Jagat Singh II in 1754. When the imperial summer castle, it was extraordinarily expanded and changed over into the Lake Palace Hotel during the 1960s by Maharana Bhagwat Singh, and is currently in the possession of the Indian-claimed Taj Group. Too bad, it doesn’t invite easygoing guests.
