Overview

This strong commemoration to Mahatma Gandhi is in Birla House. He was shot dead on the grounds by a Hindu extremist on 30 January 1948, in the wake of battling against inter communal savagery.

The house itself is the place Gandhi went through his most recent 144 days. The shows incorporate film, present day workmanship, and rooms protected similarly as Gandhi left them. The little garments shop inside the grounds sells articles of clothing produced using khadi, homemade cotton that was advocated by Gandhi during the Independence development.
