Overview

Worked by Fatehpuri Begum, one of Shah Jahan’s spouses, this seventeenth century Fatehpuri Masjid is an asylum of serenity after the frenzied lanes outside. The focal pool was taken from a respectable house, henceforth the intricate shape. After the First War of Independence, the mosque was offered to a Hindu aristocrat by the British for ₹19,000 and came back to Muslim love in return for four towns 20 years after the fact.
